Barcelona's transport system uses tariff zones. Zone 1 covers practically everything a tourist needs to visit, including the El Prat airport with some exceptions.

Does the T-Casual work for the airport?
No. The metro L9 Sud to the airport has a special fare (€5.15). The Aerobús also doesn't accept the T-Casual. Keep the T-Casual for moving within the city.
How many trips do I need for a week?
An active tourist makes 3-5 trips per day. For 7 days: budget around 3 T-Casual cards (30 trips).
Is the Tourist Bus worth it?
Only for a quick city orientation on your first day. From day two, the T-Casual with metro and bus is far more flexible and economical.
